I was thinking things over
after
my burrito and coffee
I crossed the street and sat
in the middle of the busy corner
where the bus stops and watched
the dealers and the cops jumping
all over the little whore’s shit
a young black man pointed out
his pretty young blonde friend
and he raised his eyebrows
to ask me whether I was buying
I looked a little away and thought
of other people instead
for a little while
persistently the pimp offered the blonde
she had a good nice ass a nice body
and furthermore
said the pimp to me
remember this
